AlternativePrice is operated by OdyTech, LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, with its registered office at 8 The Green #26433, Dover, DE 19901, USA. We compare the real landed cost (price, currency conversion, card fees and tax treatment) of the same product across countries and stores, and indicate whether a price is actually buyable.
AlternativePrice is an information and comparison service. We are not a store or retailer, we do not sell the products themselves, we do not set or control the prices the stores display, and we are not party to any purchase you make at a third-party store. All products are provided by the independent stores ("Stores"), subject to those Stores' own terms.
These Terms govern your access to and use of AlternativePrice, together with our Privacy notice, Cookie policy and Disclaimer. By using the service you confirm you have read, understood and agreed to them. We may amend these Terms at any time; the revised version takes effect when published, and continuing to use the service means you accept the changes. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Your use of AlternativePrice is entirely at your own risk. We enforce reasonable accuracy practices and do our best to keep the data current, but we cannot guarantee its reliability or accuracy. We label options as Buyable, Account needed or Local card to the best of our ability, but Stores change prices, regional rules and payment requirements at any time.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", and to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and conditions, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service (a) is accurate, complete or up to date; (b) will always be available; (c) will meet your expectations; or (d) is free from errors or interruptions.
Any product you find and buy via AlternativePrice is sold by the relevant Store, not by us. The Store's identity and the terms and conditions applicable to your purchase will be shown to you by that Store, and you should read them before buying. We facilitate the comparison but are not responsible and have no liability to you in respect of any purchase. If anything goes wrong with a purchase, your sole remedy, including any refund, lies with the relevant Store and not with AlternativePrice. You agree to comply with each Store's terms; breaching them (for example by misrepresenting your region) may result in cancelled orders, revoked benefits or additional charges by the Store.
Some links on AlternativePrice (including store links and VPN recommendations) are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you click through and buy, at no extra cost to you. This never changes the ranking of which option is cheapest. Any advertising shown is the responsibility of the individual advertiser, and we accept no responsibility for its content, including errors, omissions or inaccuracies. Credit bundles are sold through Link, operated by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (the seller) for the payment. Stripe processes the payment, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt and invoice. We do not store card details. Prices in US dollars exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies; prices in euros include VAT.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, at checkout you ask for your credits to be made available immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal for a bundle once you use a credit from it; until then, the refund below applies. Within 14 days of purchase you can ask for a full refund of a credit bundle none of whose credits you have used, by emailing support@alternativeprice.com from the address you bought with, or through Link support. A refunded bundle's credits are removed from your account, including when Link or Stripe issues the refund. Once a credit from a bundle has been used, that bundle is not refundable, except where the law of your country requires otherwise. Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
An account is created from your email so your credits survive across devices; you sign in with a one-time magic link. We use your email to operate the service (login, receipts). We only use it for marketing if you separately opt in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. You are responsible for keeping access to your inbox secure. See the Privacy notice.
We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use AlternativePrice for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
All intellectual property rights in the service, including the comparison index, software, design and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to us. Using the service gives you no right, title or interest in them beyond the limited licence above.
If you believe content on AlternativePrice infringes your rights or is otherwise unlawful, or if you are a Store requesting removal of your data, email abuse@alternativeprice.com with enough detail to identify the content (a URL is ideal) and your contact details. We honour valid takedown and opt-out requests in line with our data-source policy.
We have no responsibility for any arrangements you make with any third party (including any Store) as a result of using the service. Where the service links to third-party sites, those links are provided for information only; we have no control over and accept no responsibility for their content or for any loss arising from your use of them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for (a) any inaccuracies or omissions in the content; or (b) any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss (including lost profits or savings) arising from your access to, use of, or inability to use the service. Subject to the paragraph below, our maximum aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (which may be zero if you have not paid us).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing affects your non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
You are responsible for any claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) we incur arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, for example for breach of these Terms or to protect the service, on notice where reasonably practicable.
If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in force. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the service. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. A person who is not a party has no right to enforce these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, these Terms and your use are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. However, if you use the service for any commercial purpose or via an unauthorised automated program as prohibited under "Acceptable use", you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute arising from that use.
